世界への玄関港である”横浜港大さん橋客船ターミナル屋上にて、
【音楽・アート・ダンス・飲食を通じた環太平洋島嶼間の文化・ヒト・モノの交流の活性化】
をコンセプトとした文化交流野外フェスティバル《PacificRoots FEST 2015》を開催します。
音楽ライブやライブペイントとアート展示、現代と伝統が交差するダンスショー、
各太平洋諸国の名産品を使用した飲食ブース、直にアイランダーズと交流できる機会の提供を予定しています。
国内最大級のハワイアンイベント”AlohaYokohama 2015”も同日同会場にて開催。
双方入場料無料のイベントとして開催しますので、
今年の夏も横浜で"Pacific Roots"が運ぶ太平洋の風を体験しにきてください。
Continuing on last year’s success, the ‘PacificRoots FEST 2015’ will be held on the roof of Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal - the entryway to the world. PacificRoots FEST is an outdoors cultural event and festival with the goal of increasing exchange of people, merchandise and culture in the Pacific region through music, art, dance and food. Artists from the Pacific region as well as Japan will perform live music, hold art exhibitions, and have dance shows celebrating both modern and traditional dancing. There will also be shops where visitors can buy local specialties and food from Pacific countries and meet people from the Pacific region.
Japan’s largest Hawaiian event, ‘Aloha Yokohama 2015’ is scheduled to be held on the same dates as PacificRoots FEST. Both events will have free entry for visitors, so please come and enjoy yourselves and experience the warm Pacific breeze carrying the ‘Pacific Roots’.
